New Roll-On Conference Capsule (ROCC) is available to replace older, legacy Roll-On/Roll-Off modules

SelectTech Services Corporation today announced the delivery of its Roll-On Conference Capsule (ROCC): a fully airworthy, mission-ready replacement for the legacy Silver Bullet command modules used aboard C-17 aircraft.
The ROCC replaces SelectTech’s Silver Bullet Command and Control modules, which have served for years as discreet VIP quarters and airborne command platforms aboard C-17s. The Silver Bullet featured palletized Airstream sections; the ROCC brings everything into two interconnected airworthy streamlined capsules — more flexible, more capable, and built for the future.
Designed for full mission occupancy during all phases of flight, the ROCC delivers secure, connected and comfortable airborne workspaces for senior leaders and their teams. Its key features include:
- Senior leader workstation with integrated cabin display system.
- A reconfigurable six- to nine-person conference space with four modular workstations.
- Secure voice and data communications (wideband and narrowband).
- A video teleconferencing (VTC) system with integrated display.
- Intercom system.
- Ethernet, Wi-Fi and 120 V/60 Hz outlets.
- Lavatory sleep quarters (sofa-to-bunk conversion).
What sets the ROCC apart is the people behind it.
“This capsule was designed by folks who’ve actually flown these missions,” said Clay Beard, program manager for RORO systems at SelectTech. “We know the constraints of the aircraft, the comms challenges, and the pressure crews face when something doesn’t work. That’s why we don’t just deliver systems; we stay connected, even if it’s 2 a.m. on the flight line.”
